This painting was inspired by my many trips to Jarvie Alberta hunting with my son Robin and his friends at the ‘Boars Nest lodge. I am trying to learn acrylic techniques and got the color scheme and composition from a book by Jerry Yarnell . The scene however is almost identical to the many places that I hunted around Jarvie . I changed the compsoition to match with some of my own pictures .
