Buckets Half Full

The painting represents the way people used to lug water years ago.

The hoop kept the buckets away from your legs and made the load seem a lot lighter. The title came to me from a chat that I had with a Facebook friend.  She said she remembered bringing water for grandmother that way, but by the time she got home the buckets were only half full. I laughed and said I was a lazy boy so mine were only half full when I left the well. I asked her if she had a suggestion for a title and she said why not “buckets half full”. A great title.
